TWILIGHT-- the books facts?
1) Bella. One trait is that she blushes all the time


2) Edward. One trait is that he wants to suck Bella%26#039;s blood.





The main character%26#039;s (Bella%26#039;s) problem is that she can%26#039;t figure out what Edward is and when she does, she ahs to decide if she wants to risk her life to be with Edward because she loves him.





Sequence of events:


1) Bella moves to Forks, Washington.


2) Bella starts school and meets the Cullens.


3) Bella learns that Edward is a vampire.


4) Bella is almost killed





Climax- When Edward sucks the venom out of Bella%26#039;s hand.





Resolution- The Cullens kill James.





The theme of the story- Temptation





Ctitique- It was the most amazing book I%26#039;ve ever read! The beginning was a little slow, but then it turned into the best thing ever! I%26#039;m acctually going to read for the third time soon!

1. Bella is 17 and moves to Forks so that her mom and travel with her husband without her being a bother. She lives with her dad, Charlie in the rainiest place. She%26#039;s extremely clumsy and has balance problems. She doesn%26#039;t care that much her popularity and is fascinated by Edward.


2. Edward is a vampire and goes to Forks high school. He has the power to read other%26#039;s minds, except for Bella. He is overprotective or her and wishes for her to be safe. He thinks he is selfish for being with bella and putting her in danger so often.





1. There are vampire nomads, Laurent, and he wants to kill Bella for fun.





1. Bella moves to forks and meets Edward


2. She finds out he is a vampire, but still likes him. They are together now


3 laurent comes and tries to kill bella. Bella runs away and hides


4. Bella is hurt and in the hospital. Laurent is dead, and she goes back to Forks with Edward





Climax - Laurent tries to kill her

Reply:1) Bella Swan: an average girl, of average height with brown hair, slender, brown eyes. She is clumsy, above average intelligence, though not a genius by a long-shot, and is fairly loyal. She can be stubborn, and slightly single-minded at times.


2) Edward Cullen: a vampire, so incredibly attractive with reflexes that are far beyond those of a human. He can be slightly conservative in his views, and stubborn, though not as single-minded as Bella. He has the ability to read others thoughts, except Bella%26#039;s.





1) Bella falls in love with Edward. Multiple complexes arise out of this.





1) Bella moves to Forks, WA, and meets Edward


2) Bella and Edward fall in love


3) Bella goes with the Cullens to watch them play vampire baseball, and they encounter another group of vampires


4) Said vampires want Bella%26#039;s blood, and so lure her to Phoenix, her previous home town, on the pretense that her mother is being held captive





Climax: Bella is attacked by James, one of the other vampires. He bites her, but not enough venom is transfered to turn her into a vampire. Edward kills James





Resolution: Bella and the Cullens go back to Forks, fairly unscathed.





Theme: Appearances may be deceiving (ie: the Cullens are viewed as beautiful teens who keep to themselves, but are, in fact, vampires. Bella is thought to be an average girl, but is special to so many).





Love conquers all barriers, etc.





Critical Comments: The book is a very fast read. The actual writing itself is not that great, but the story is addictive all the same. The author is very good a developing characters and plot, but what is in between is not exceptional writing. Also, the growing fan base is actually quite annoying. It makes the book seem less genuine, as almost everyone has read it, and has the same level of obsession with it. Similar to other pop culture things, such as Hannah Montana, in that sense. All together, good for a quick read

1) In the first half of the book : She likes Edward


In the second half of the book: James wants to kill Bella








Sequence of events-





1)Bella moves to Forks





2)Bella goes to school and on her first day she meets a lot of people, including Edward Cullen, who seems not to like her.





3)Bella notices the next day [second day of school] that Edward isn%26#039;t there. He doesn%26#039;t come back for another week.





4)Edward comes back and attempts to be friends with Bella. They do a lab together.





5) Bella almost gets run over by Tyler Crowley%26#039;s van, but Edward saves her and Bella tries to make Edward tell her why he saved her. He doesn%26#039;t answer. He stops talking to her.





6) When Mike asks Bella to the spring dance a few weeks later, Edward starts talking to Bella again. Bella gets asked out 2 more times that day.





7) The next day Bella has lunch with Edward at school. Edward skips Biology because they are blood typing. Bella gets sick. Mike starts walking her to the nurse%26#039;s office. Edward sees them. He gets Bella and after taking her to the nurse%26#039;s office he drives her home.





8) Bella goes to La Push with Mike and the gang, where she meets Jacob Black and he tells her a story about werewolves and vampires.





9) Bella goes to Port Angeles With Angela and Jessica. She gets lost. She gets cornered by a group of men. Edward saves her. they have lunch at a restaurant. She gets him to tell her that he%26#039;s a vampire.





10) Edward picks her up and takes her to school the next day. People start thinking that they are going out.





11) Edward and Bella go to a meadow, where they tell each other how much they like each other. They go to Bella%26#039;s house. He stays at her house for the night.





12) Bella meets Edward%26#039;s family. She attenda a baseball game in which Edward%26#039;s family is playing and she meets James, Laurent, and Victoria.





13)Bella leaves Forks and goes to Pheonix.





14) After getting a phone call, Bella goes to her house and afterwards to a ballet studio where James is waiting for her.








climax-Bella goes to the ballet studio where she is supposed to meet James and when she gets there they talk and he attacks her.








resolution-Edward, Emmett, and Jasper kill James, and Bella goes to the hospital because she is really hurt.

9) James had bitten Bella, and she was going to die, but Edward sucked the venom out of her, and managed to stop once the venom was all out, even though Bella%26#039;s blood smelled, and tasted, extra good to him.


10) They told everyone that Bella had fallen down two flights of stairs and fell out a window at a hotel, where she had agreed to talk to Edward even though the %26#039;broke up%26#039;.
