End of ECLIPSE, why did Bella try to take off the bracelet?

After she leaves from Jacob and goes to her room crying... she tries to take it off and Edward said it%26#039;s part of who she is and no? Why and why?

I guess she didn%26#039;t want Edward to see it or she doesn%26#039;t want to be reminded of Jacob ever time she looks at her wrist.

well, jake gave it to her and he just broke her heart (well, she broke his heart first, i guess) She%26#039;s trying to forget him when Edward tells her to keep it on because it%26#039;s who she is.





It%26#039;s who she is because she%26#039;s already in love with both of them ( on the bracelet, there%26#039;s a wolf, Jake, and a diamond, Edward)
Reply:I think She wants to take it off because she doesn%26#039;t want to be reminded of Jacob, I%26#039;m not sure about hte second one.
Reply:Because the bracelet was a present from Jacob to her, and she is trying to remove Jacob from her life now to prevent herself from hurting him more. So she tries to take it off. Also, because she doesn%26#039;t want to be reminded of what she did to her.





Edward says that she shouldn%26#039;t because it%26#039;s a part of her now because both him and Jacob have been a big part of her life since she moved to Forks - they basically are her life, actually - so it should be kept on because it%26#039;s symbolizes that.
Reply:Remember in Eclipse, Jake gave her a bracelt with a wolf on it and Edward gave her one that was a heart. She took off the wolf one because she was going to forget about Jacob. That part made me cry! It was just so so sad. That%26#039;s why Edward said it was a part of her because Jake is a part of her.
Reply:well i have two explanations:


firstly, in my opinion edward wasen%26#039;t talkin about the braclet. i assume he was talking about how she shoulden%26#039;t hold back her tears and just cry that brings me to why she was taking off her braclet, she was trying not to look edward in the eyes ( i think) it was kind of like an excuse to not start crying. also, maybe she was trying to take it off because jake broke her heart?
